BRENHAM, Texas (FOX 44) -- Blue Bell is celebrating National Ice Cream Month with the release of something monstrously delicious. The company's new Monster Cookie Dough ice cream is now in stores. This is a creamy vanilla ice cream with bits of brown sugar loaded with peanut butter monster cookie dough pieces, candy-coated chocolate pieces and dark chocolate chunks. Monster Cookie Dough is available in the half-gallon and pint sizes for a limited time. Meanwhile, Blue Bell's Dr Pepper Float Ice Cream is still in stores. This is a creamy vanilla ice cream swirled together with a Dr Pepper-flavored sherbet. This is also available in the half-gallon and pint sizes.For coffee fans, Blue Bell recently introduced Java Jolt Ice Cream. The Missouri Department of Conservation plants fields of sunflowers each year at the Columbia Bottoms Conservation Area, a 4,300-acre conservation area located just north north of Interstate 270 on Strodtman Road. JENNINGS, Mo. - Authorities arrested a man accused in a deadly shooting in Jennings on the Fourth of July. The shooting happened around 4 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Jendale Court. The St. Louis County Police Department reports that Peter Cooper, 35, of Florissant, died in the shooting. Another woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Two lives lost: Did 911 fail during St. Louis storm? Police have not yet disclosed the suspect's identity or any potential charges. Based on preliminary findings, police believe the suspect was agitated at social activity near his home. Both victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment, though Cooper later died from his injuries. Police say the suspect reportedly barricaded himself inside his home. Family members are mourning the loss of a 5-year-old boy and his grandmother who were killed by a wrong-way driver in Van Nuys last week.The crash occurred around 9 p.m. on June 29 when authorities say a white Honda Accord headed northbound on Woodley Avenue veered into the southbound lanes and crashed head-on into a gray Honda Civic.Four members of the Cordova family were in the Civic and headed to dinner when the crash happened, family members said. A 5-year-old boy and his grandmother who were killed in a crash in Van Nuys are seen in a GoFundMe image. In the backseat were 5-year-old Yoshua and his grandmother Aura De La Cruz Calderon de Tobar.
