(AP) — Sara Scalia made eight 3-pointers and scored a season-high 32 points as No. 16 Indiana cruised to an 84-35 victory on Friday over Bowling Green for the Hoosiers’ ninth straight win.Scalia, a second-year transfer from Minnesota who came in shooting 43.7% on 3-pointers, was 8 of 11 from the arc before leaving midway through the fourth quarter. She finished tied for second in program history for 3-pointers made in a game and one shy of her career best at Minnesota. Jared Polis announced clemency for 28 people on Friday, including a first-degree murder convict who's earned multiple degrees and now teaches a university course from prison.David Carillo was convicted in 1994 of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. The governor's clemency grants him parole effective Jan. 31. Biden to pardon certain marijuana offenses, commute sentences of 11 nonviolent drug offenders Carillo was part of a group whose acts led to someone's killing. While another member of the group committed the homicide, Carillo received a longer sentence than the shooter, who was released on parole after serving 25 years, according to a letter from Polis.While incarcerated, Carillo earned a GED, a bachelor's degree and a master of business administration — and he became the first imprisoned adjunct faculty member in the country, the governor said. DENVER (KDVR) -- Denver International Airport has a new way to prevent auto thefts this month, just in time for a busy holiday travel season.Auto theft has been increasing significantly year after year in Denver. According to a release from Meridian Rapid Defense Group, over 940 vehicles have been stolen at DIA so far this year. DENVER (KDVR) -- Colorado State Patrol is asking the public for help in a deadly hit-and-run investigation.On Thursday around 7 p.m., a single rider on an electric scooter was traveling westbound on East 58th Avenue in Adams County, according to CSP. Driver wanted in Fort Collins hit-and-run that killed scooter rider When turning left onto Logan Court, CSP said he was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on 58th Avenue.The rider, a 28-year-old from Northglenn, was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. CSP said the vehicle involved fled the scene of the crash.Now, CSP is looking for a 2004-2009 white Subaru Legacy Outback, with damage on the front left side of the hood and possibly the windshield. An investigation got underway Thursday night after a robbery in the South End that was caught on camera. A police spokesperson said officers responded to the Richdale Food Shops on Dartmouth Street after receiving an initial call around 10 p.m. Surveillance video later shared with 7NEWS showed the incident unfold, with a man in a black jacket with a fur-lined hood entering and going toward a refrigerator. The man appears to wait until another customer leaves. When he stepped up to pay, employees said, the robber pretended to buy a bottle of water. When the cashier opened the register to make change, though, he said the man flashed a gun hidden in his coat.The cashier is seen in video jumping back with his hands up. The robber, in turn, is seen reaching over the counter and taking cash. Boston police said the robber stole about $3,000 from the register.
