ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- On Tuesday, Rodolpho Bogado, 39, pled guilty to receipt and possession of child pornography. Bogado faces at least five years and up to 20 years in prison and will also be required to register as a sex offender. Bogado admitted to downloading and receiving video files depicting child pornography through a file-sharing service. He also admitted to having over 300 videos and image files of child porn.Sentencing is scheduled for October 11, 2023. SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Schenectady man was sentenced to 18 years determinate after pleading guilty to one count of first-degree rape. Solana was also sentenced to 20 years of post-release supervision and will have to register as a sex offender. A full stay-away order of protection was issued for the victim. According to the indictment, the child was 12 years old at the time. The defendant was known to the victim. ALBANY, N.Y. (WTEN) -- An energy company by the name of Holtec plans on disposing radioactive chemicals into the Hudson River in coming months. In the last days of session, advocates are asking the Governor to sign legislation to prevent this from happening. Advocates took to the halls of the capitol chanting, "What do we want? Clean water! When do we want it? Now!" They say, the Hudson River is not a sewer and the practice of dumping radioactive chemicals into these waters, must come to an end. The disposal is part of Holtec’s plans to decommission the Indian Point Power Plant, located just north of New York City. ROCHEPORT, Mo. -- Beer and cattle contributed to the frustration as crews spent hours clearing a crash on the Missouri River bridge west of Columbia.The highway reopened around 3:45 p.m.The crash involved a loaded cattle trailer, a pickup, and at least four other vehicles. EVANSVILLE, Ill. – The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed a reported black bear sighting that occurred over the weekend near Evansville.A resident called sheriff’s deputies at 8:30 p.m. Saturday to report seeing a bear.
