Chicago Bears president Warren donates $1M to Lurie Children's cancer center CHICAGO -- The foundation run by Bears president and CEO Kevin Warren and his wife pledged one million dollars to Lurie Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders Friday morning. "Whenever we can provide to soften the blow on any level, we're in," Greta Warren said.In 2023, the Warrens made a donation to help families and children with cancer diagnosis, making a similar donation to a hospital in Minnesota. "With both are upbeat people, we both are people with a heart of gratitude, and grateful. ‘All of Us Strangers’ review: A broken heart, looking to heal, in a beautiful London-set story “All of Us Strangers” is a lovely way to begin 2024, not because it’s especially seasonal — though one key scene takes place around Christmastime — but because it’s just so beautifully acted and tenderly observant. Writer-director Andrew Haigh’s drama made a lot of Top 10 lists for 2023. I always miss two or three such films around the holiday crunchtime. Road closure, multiple injured in I-87 bus rollover LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- According to 511 NY, a bus rollover on I-87 Northway Southbound between exits 22 and 23 has closed all lanes and both shoulders. Drivers in the area are advised to seek alternate routes. Authorities confirm with NEWS10 that there are multiple injuries at this time and that there are at least two serious injuries. According to the Warren County Sheriff's Office, multiple medivac helicopters are headed to the scene. The Warrensburg School District has sent buses to the scene to assist with transporting the injured to the hospital. LoDo luxury apartment building sells for $125.5M in year-end deal The 287-unit luxury Platform at Union Station apartment building in Lower Downtown sold for $125.5 million to Griffis Residential in what is said to be one of the largest multifamily property transactions in metro Denver in 2023.The 21-story building at 1650 Wewatta St. was built in 2015, directly adjacent to Union Station. Holland Partner Group in Vancouver, Wash., developed the apartment building.
