SUMMITTVILLE, Ind. (WXIN) — What started as the discovery of 30 missing pills snowballed into more than 250 pills unaccounted for at an Indiana retirement home. Employee concerns about the director of nursing at the time, Jennifer Wilson, prompted a Medicaid fraud investigator with the Office of the Indiana Attorney General to look into Summit Health and Living in Summittville. As part of state and federal guidelines, SHL tracks all controlled substances and keeps a narcotic count sheet. Police on Tuesday released the names of the girls who died in an ATV accident in Afton on Saturday.Savanna Koeckeritz, 10, of Afton, and Alexis “Lexi” Gibson, 10, of Mahtomedi, were friends and classmates at New Heights School, a small K-12 charter school in Stillwater.Deputies found the girls trapped under an ATV after they were called to the Koeckeritz property in the 1000 block of Neal Avenue around 5 p.m. Saturday, according to the Washington County sheriff’s office. The deputies attempted life-saving measures, but were unsuccessful.The girls were in the ATV by themselves on the 8-acre property at the time of the accident, sources say.Both girls were in the 4th/5th class at New Heights School, which is located at 614 Mulberry St W., just west of downtown Stillwater. RUTLAND, Vt. (NEWS10) -- Two Rutland residents were arrested in connection to a shooting that happened around 5 a.m. on Monday, according to the Rutland City Police Department. MOREAU, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Two people were arrested following a reported home burglary in Moreau, according to New York State Police. On Monday, around 5:43 p.m., troopers responded to a home on Hilton Drive in Moreau for a reported burglary in progress. While on their way to the scene, law enforcement was advised the suspects had fled in a car. Troopers eventually found the car on State Route 9 in Ganesvoort and pulled them over.
