SANTA CLARA — A 30-unit interim housing complex for homeless families may soon be erected on a parcel of county-owned land on the corner of Lawrence Expressway and Benton Street.Following a contentious meeting that spanned the last two Tuesday evenings and ran late into the night, the Santa Clara City Council voted 4 to 3 to partner with Santa Clara County and the non-profit LifeMoves on the potential project. Councilmembers Kathy Watanabe, Karen Hardy, Suds Jain and Anthony Becker voted for the project, while Mayor Lisa Gillmor, Vice Mayor Kevin Park and Councilmember Raj Chahal voted against it.The project is expected to be funded through several different revenue streams, but the county has been banking on a large portion of the money coming from Project Homekey — a pandemic-era initiative from Gov. As the planet went down the stellar hatch, there was a swift hot outburst of light, fol...Best Roulette Sites: Where to Play Live, European, French, and American Roulette Online [2023]
