LAKE FOREST, Ill. — For a second time during the 2023 regular season, a change is coming to the Bears' coaching staff.This time, it's the firing of their running backs coach.The Bears have let go of David Walker after a year-and-a-half with the team, head coach Matt Ebeflus confirmed at his news conference on Wednesday. It comes ahead of the team's Week 9 game against the Saints in New Orleans on Sunday at Noon. Omar Young, who has worked with the wide receivers and quarterbacks this season, will take over Walker's duties with the running backs."As a head coach, we are building a program and have standards to uphold to as a staff and organization both on and off the field," said Eberflus, who said he had the support of team president and CEO Kevin Warren, general manager Ryan Poles, and ownership to fire Walker. CHICAGO — Police are searching for a man who stole a vehicle with a toddler inside on the city's Southwest Side.The incident happened around 12:54 a.m. Wednesday in the 7100 block of South Western Avenue. Police said a man entered a vehicle that was left running and drove off in it.According to police, a 1-year-old child was inside the vehicle at the time it was stolen.The vehicle was recovered a short time later in the 6900 block of South Maplewood with the child safely inside.The child was transported to Comer Children's Hospital for evaluation. 2 arrested in attempted crash and grab at retail store on West Side No one is in custody. DoorDash is giving customers a warning about tipping. Users of the app have noticed a new warning screen popping up. It says refusing to tip might mean your food takes longer to get delivered.It says "Dashers can pick and choose which orders they want to do. DENVER (KDVR) — Police say the heavily armed man who was found dead inside a Colorado theme park over the weekend had likely planned to use those weapons in an attack on the community.The man, identified as 20-year-old Diego Barajas Medina, was found dead inside the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park prior to the park's opening on Saturday morning, according to the Garfield County Sheriff's Office.A coroner later confirmed Medina's cause of death to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — As we near the end of an active hurricane season, a new system in the Caribbean Sea could become the next tropical depression.The National Hurricane Center said the system could form toward the end of the week as it moves westward over the central and southwestern Caribbean Sea. It has a 60 percent chance of development over the next seven days.
