DENVER (KDVR) -- The Denver Police Department is investigating a deadly crash that happened late Sunday evening.The crash was reported before 11:30 p.m. at southbound Interstate 25 and Yale Avenue. Rafter rescued from swift rapids on Royal Gorge DPD said two people in a single vehicle were pronounced dead following the crash. (CNN) — Egypt has announced the discovery of two of the largest workshops ever used to mummify human and animal corpses in ancient times.Two workshops and two tombs were discovered in Saqqara, a vast Pharaonic necropolis south of Cairo, according to Mostafa Waziri, the secretary-general of Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities.“Today, we announce the discovery of the two biggest mummification workshops for humans and animals at the Saqqara Necropolis. DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) — One person was found overnight at the site of a collapsed apartment building in Iowa, bringing the total number of people rescued to eight, authorities said Monday.Davenport Fire Chief Michael Carlsten said at a news conference Monday that it was unclear if anyone was still missing after part of the six-story complex crashed to the ground in the eastern Iowa city. CAPE TOWN, South Africa (AP) — South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed a judge to oversee an inquiry into allegations that the country supplied arms to Russia on a ship that docked secretly at a naval base in December.
